Many thanks to bendavis78 for the initial patch, and for input from others.
Also fixed #7309 . If people were relying on the undocumented default ordering
applied by the admin before, they will need to add 'ordering = ["-pk"]' to
their ModelAdmin.

Removed a broken test added in [16312]

This test caused a test failure (in subclass CustomModelAdminTest), and the
test also proved to be extremely brittle when trying to implement #11868 ,
and basically unfixable with current infrastructure.

The root bug was in decorator_from_middleware, and the fix also corrects

This also fixes a slight inconsistency with raw_post_data after parsing of a
multipart request, and adds a test for that. (Previously accessing

Prevented non-admin users from accessing the admin redirect shortcut.

If the admin shortcut view (e.g. /admin/r/<content-type>/<pk>/) is
publically-accessible, and if a public users can guess a content-type ID
(which isn't hard given that they're sequential), then the redirect view could
possibly leak data by redirecting to pages a user shouldn't "know about." So
the redirect view needs the same protection as the rest of the admin site.

Fixed #5494 , #10765 , #14924 -- Modified the order in which translations are read when composing the final translation to offer at runtime.

This is slightly backward-incompatible (could result in changed final translations for literals appearing multiple times in different .po files but with different translations).
Translations are now read in the following order (from lower to higher priority):
For the 'django' gettext domain:
* Django translations
* INSTALLED_APPS apps translations (with the ones listed first having higher priority)
* settings/project path translations (deprecated, see below)
* LOCALE_PATHS translations (with the ones listed first having higher priority)
For the 'djangojs' gettext domain:
* Python modules whose names are passed to the javascript_catalog view
* LOCALE_PATHS translations (with the ones listed first having higher priority, previously they weren't included)
Also, automatic loading of translations from the 'locale' subdir of the settings/project path is now deprecated.

Fixed #11675 -- Added support for the PyLibMC cache library. In order to support this, and clean up some other 1.3 caching additions, this patch also includes some changes to the way caches are defined. This means you can now have multiple caches, in the same way you have multiple databases. A huge thanks to Jacob Burch for the work on the PyLibMC backend, and to Jannis for his work on the cache definition changes.

- The include tag now has an 'only' option to exclude the current context
when rendering the included template.
- The with tag now accepts multiple variable assignments.
- The with, include and blocktrans tags now use a new keyword argument format
for variable assignments (e.g. `{% with foo=1 bar=2 %}`).

Fixes #14873 -- A paginated ListView with a List instead of queryset produces an error.

Additional minor change in functionality: the page is now not considered paginated if the objects do not span multiple pages according to the paginator. This will only affect views with a custom paginator method which uses orphans.

Fixed a suite of errors in the ORM -- a) fixed calling values_list().values_list() and changing whether the results are flat, b) fixed an issue with fields on the left-hand side of what becomes the HAVING clause not being included in the GROUP BY clause, and c) fixed a bug with fields from values() calls not being included in the GROUP BY clause. This fixed the recent test failures under postgresql.

Corrected change in behavior regarding the page shown after the 'Save' button is pressed when adding a user through the admin.

It had been introduced in trunk (r13503) and between 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 (r13504). The original fix intended to correct a similar problem introduced between 1.1 and 1.2 (r12218) this time in the 'Save and add another' button.
We have now tests for the three buttons present in the Add User admin form to avoid future regressions.

* Two new global settings that will be used by -- **but are not limited to** -- the staticfiles app: STATIC_ROOT and STATIC_URL.
* Moving the 'django.contrib.staticfiles.templatetags.staticfiles' template tag to the core ('django.templatetags.static') and renaming it to 'get_static_prefix'.
* Moving the context processor 'django.contrib.staticfiles.context_processors.staticfiles' to the core ('django.core.context_processors.static') and renaming it to 'static'.
* Paths in media definitions will use STATIC_URL as the prefix if the value is not None, and falls back to the previously used MEDIA_URL.

Fixed #14445 - Use HMAC and constant-time comparison functions where needed.

All adhoc MAC applications have been updated to use HMAC, using SHA1 to
generate unique keys for each application based on the SECRET_KEY, which is
common practice for this situation. In all cases, backwards compatibility
with existing hashes has been maintained, aiming to phase this out as per
the normal deprecation process. In this way, under most normal
circumstances the old hashes will have expired (e.g. by session expiration
etc.) before they become invalid.
In the case of the messages framework and the cookie backend, which was
already using HMAC, there is the possibility of a backwards incompatibility
if the SECRET_KEY is shorter than the default 50 bytes, but the low
likelihood and low impact meant compatibility code was not worth it.
All known instances where tokens/hashes were compared using simple string
equality, which could potentially open timing based attacks, have also been
fixed using a constant-time comparison function.
There are no known practical attacks against the existing implementations,
so these security improvements will not be backported.

Removed a test assertion that depended on primary key ordering. The test doesn't validate anything significant, and fails under Postgres. Thanks to Tobias McNulty and the magical Caktus buildbot for pointing out the problem.
