[1.9.x] Fixed #25398 -- Revised instances of os.path.join()
Replaced occurrences of os.path.join(BASE_DIR, 'folder/subfolder') to os.path.join(BASE_DIR, 'folder', 'subfolder') Backport of d2ef521a53 from master.
